Circus skills workshops
are a great way to relax and have fun; it is entertaining, fun and educational. Our workshops are perfect for children, giving them a chance to play with a wide range of circus toys including poi, plate spinning, hula hoops, juggling clubs/balls/rings/scarves, staff spinning, contact balls, flower sticks, ribbon twirling, unicycle, stilt walking and one of the hottest trends among children and adults of the past few years, diabolo.
Many circus skills such as juggling, poi, staff spinning and diabolo have been proven to increase concentration, body muscle, focus and attention span. Studies from the University of Regensburg in Germany have shown that learning to juggle causes parts of the brain to grow and poi is used worldwide as a form of flow and relaxation.
Circus skills workshop packages:
1. Circus Introduction to Circus Skills - NOW ONLY £250
(Ideally up to 30 children, larger groups on arrangements)
This package is perfect for schools, fairs, events, open days, young children and those who are new to circus skills and want to start learning. It includes highly detailed explanations throughout the workshop and a strong encouraging atmosphere to work in. These cricus workshops, which will be taught by 2 instructors and include all the necessary equipment, consists of juggling balls, scarves, the art of poi, diabolo the basics, introduction to flower sticks, spinning plates and hula hoops.
This is a free play environment where we encourage and support the children to try everything and have fun whilst learning the circus skills. We will usually end the workshop with some light-hearted circus games that will encourage the children to work as a team and demonstrate what they have learnt throughout the workshop.

2. Progressing with Circus Skills - NOW ONLY £300
(Ideally up to 30 children, larger groups on arrangements)
Ideal for those who have already completed the introduction to circus skills workshop, fast learners, over 12's or those who already have a little experience in circus skills. In this workshop we will cover juggling balls, scarves and clubs, diabolo introduction and tricks, staff spinning, poi, flower and devil sticks, hula hooping and spinning plates.
This is an instructional workshop where we teach the basics of the skill and learn some tricks. Participants will get full use of the workshop equipment and include 2 highly trained circus skills instructors. We usually run the workshop in 3 parts which consists of: initial demonstrations and getting a feel for the equipment, second part includes giving the participants an explanation on the short demonstration of what they have learnt throughout the workshop and allowing them to work on what they are going to demonstrate, ensuring the instructors are available for help, and lastly, would allow the children to demonstrate what they have learnt.
This is a great workshop that will encourage the participants to work as a team, and at the same time boost their confidence and self esteem. Please note that we only encourage children to demonstrate their skills, this is not a requirement if they do not feel comfortable.

3. Build and Play Circus Workshop - NOW ONLY £400
(Ideally up to 30 children, larger groups on arrangements)
A fantastic interactive workshop where we allow the participants to make their own juggling balls or poi under supervision and instruction, and take them away with them. It is a two-hour workshop split into two halves; the first half consists of the making of the equipment and the second half is learning how to use the equipment they have just made.
This is an ideal workshop for those aged 8 years and over, however if younger children wanted to attend, this is possible and we will ensure they will be supervised when making the equipment. The workshop will last for two hours and is a great way to keep the children entertained in a constructive way. We will also have a full selection of circus equipment for the children to use.

4. Circus Skills Fun Day with Marquee Hire - Now only £700
Ideal for fun days, corporate events, children’s birthdays, weddings and other large events this is a five-hour event/workshop that includes full hire of our marquee. We will set up the 6 x 3 marquee at your location and fill it with circus equipment including clubs, balls, scarves, diabolos, spinning plates, flower and devil sticks, poi and hula hoops.
We will provide a drop-in workshop for 5 hours where everyone is welcome to come and learn circus skills. On-site will be 3 instructors giving demonstrations and teaching participants circus skills. During the workshop, we will provide circus games including prizes. This is a perfect package if you wanted to create a circus or children area at your event. Please note our marquee can be used with or without its side panels to suit occasion and weather.
